Lorenzo G. Lopez, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 28, 2007. A Rosary will be recited tonight, Sunday, at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 Stover Ave. SW. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Bruce Nieto Jr., Robert Flores, Fred Lopez Jr., Gabriel Lopez, Leroy Lucero Jr., Chris Lopez, and Michael Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers are his grandchildren and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Y.D.I., Inc. 1st St. SW.
