Jerry Griego, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, in Phoenix, AZ. Jerry was born January 6, 1959 in Albuquerque, NM to the home of Charles and Bennie Padilla Griego. He was reared and attended schools in Albuquerque. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Charles Griego; and his brother, Robert Griego. Survivors include his sons: Issac J. Griego and Jesse R. Griego; his mother, Bennie Griego; brothers, Andrew Griego, Alex Griego, and David Griego; sisters, Patsy Crespin, Dolores Griego and NoraLee Mckay; grandchildren: Jeremiah Griego, Hailey Briceno, and Maria Duran-Griego; as well as many other people that touched Jerry's life including his girlfriend, Cathy Jaramillo, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends that cared for him in Albuquerque, Los Lunas, and Arizona. He will be deeply missed. Cremation has taken place and Rosary Services will be held on Tuesday, April, 3, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. with a Memorial Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. from San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Luna.
