Chenault Davison went to the Lord on March 27, 2007. Chenault Davison was born in Unionville, Illinois on May 25, 1916 to Lurena DeJarnette and Edd Davison. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Irene (Reynolds) Davison; four brothers; and three sisters. Survived by Juanita Louise (Davidson) Davison; daughter, Sandra Sue Runnels; stepdaughter, Lita Jo Herrman; stepson, Gary Winans; grandkids, Barry Chenault Runnels, Sherri Lee Johnson, Terri Lynn Green, Nancy Lane Daffern, Tessa and Emily Winans; great-grandchildren, Patrick, Kyle, and Annie Runnels, Nic, Margo, and Kyra Daffern, and Kristine Johnson. Chenault retired in 1977 from Sandia Labs and was the materials buyer for the first Atom bomb at Los Alamos. He worked on the Ohio River during WWII and was very proud of being presented, by the Coast Guard, the only Inland Steam Vessels Mates License that qualified him to work on all inland river vessels. Chenault loved the outdoors and was he an avid fisherman and hunter. He especially enjoyed challenging his friends in billiards. Funeral Services will held Monday, April 2, 2007, 12:00 noon at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors.
