Helen M. Baca, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on March 9, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2005. She is survived by two sisters, Marina Valverde and Emma Estrada; a brother, Sam P. Madrid; her sons, John Baca and wife, Emily, and Dr. Mario Baca and wife, Barbara; a daughter, Carol Fuentes; seven grandchildren, Michael, Lawrence, Jennifer, Kimberly, Mario, Marisol, and Caroline; and six great-grandchildren. Helen was a very vibrant person. She loved to read and talk, She loved taking care of her home and receiving visitors. During her life, she traveled extensively to many parts of the world. She will truly be missed. Services are to be on April 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Daniels Family Funeral Services.
