L. Virginia "Ginny" Glass was born to Dr. William E. and Laura V. Wingood in Baltimore, MD, on September 11, 1919, and passed from this life in Albuquerque on March 20, 2007. A resident of Albuquerque since 1949, she worked for Sandia Corporation for over 25 years, in charge of organizing and directing the secretarial pool, and was one of Sandia's first female managers. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Parish since its formation. She will be sorely missed by her "Bingo Buddies" from Snow Heights. Ginny was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Raymond E. Glass in 1989; and her brother, William E. Wingood, Jr., in 1997. She is survived by her children, Barry Glass of Albuquerque, Barbara Dale Glass of Sparks, NV, and G. Wayne Glass and wife, Ruth, of Pacific Palisades, CA; her grandchildren, Damon Tribble, Hillary Glass, Allison Glass, Jerelyn Glass, and Veronica Glass; and three great-grandchildren. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Mount Calvary Cemetery, preceded by visitation at 9:00 a.m. and recitation of the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at Mount Calvary, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.
