Dawnie Madrid, born August 19, 1946, passed on to be with her Lord March 19, 2007. Having been preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Gonzales and her son, Scotty Madrid, she is survived by her father, Bernie Gonzales; three children, Brian Madrid, Eric Madrid, and Monica Pack; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Brianna, Matthew, and Nicholas Madrid, Angelica, Jerry Lee, and Karisa Pack; one sister, Tommie Johnson; three brothers, Bernie, Nathan, and Manuel Gonzales; and numerous friends. A loving and devoted mother, sister, and friend, she will be greatly missed in her passing. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, March 23, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 3rd Street SW. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Presbyterian Hospice, 8300 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, 87110, in her honor.
