Bill D. Yoder, 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died Thursday, March 15, 2007. Bill was born in Somerset County, PA on September 18, 1925. He was the youngest of three children. He spent his youth in northeastern Ohio until he began working for Sandia Corp. in 1951. He was transferred to various locations around the country before finally settling in Albuquerque. He retired from the Labs in 1987 after almost 37 years of service. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Betty who died in 2002 after 50 years of marriage. Together they traveled in their RV and especially enjoyed Tucson where they spent many winters and made numerous good friends. Bill is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Cuadra; son-in-law, Dan; and grandchildren, Jessica and Nathan. He was a wonderful dad and grandpa and will be deeply missed. Wake Service will be Sunday, March 18, 2007, 3:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 19, 2007, 9:00 a.m. at Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Road NE. Cremation will follow and ennichment of cremated remains will take place in Painesville, OH.
