Obituary for PEDIGO

Dolly E. Pedigo, 98, passed away at Arbor Creek Nursing Home, Albuquerque, NM on Wednesday, March 14, 2007. She was born on January 21, 1909 in Nolanville, TX, the daughter of Tolbert and Alice Roberts. She attended school in Prairie Dell, TX. She moved to Hutchinson, KS in 1952 and to Albuquerque, NM in 1985. She had been a member the First Southern Baptist Church, Hutchinson, KS where she was the church custodian for twenty-three years. While in Albuquerque she was a member Sandia Baptist Church. On September 20, 1926 she married George W. Pedigo at Lampassas, TX. He passed away on June 2, 1984. She is survived by three sons, Emmanuel T. Pedigo and his wife, Ellen, Donald D. Pedigo and his wife, Phyllis, and Kenneth W. Pedigo and his wife, Sandra, all of Albuquerque, NM; three daughters, Ruby L. Strawn and her husband, Larry and Linda M Reece, both of Hutchinson, KS and Barbara H. Youngman and her husband Bob, Dodge City, KS; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Terry Kelley; two sisters, Ann and Nora; and a brother, Hughe. Graveside Services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery & Mausoleum with Kyle Emery officiating. Interment will follow the Aervices. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home & Crematory with the family present to receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Memorial remembrances may be made to Ambercare Hospice or the charity of one's choice, in care of the funeral home.
