Obituary for MERINEY-HENSON

Ann Meriney-Henson, of Albuquerque, NM, died Friday, March 16, 2007 after a very brief illness. Ann was born in 1940 in Salem, OR to Dr. and Mrs. Dudley Strain. Ann was a graduate of Texas Tech University. For the past thirty years she was the President of Ann-Teriors, Inc. a highly successful interior design company. Ann was an excellent business woman and mentored many interior designers in the Albuquerque area. Ann traveled the world extensively. She had a true zest for life and enjoyed all that it had to offer. Ann shared this enthusiasm with all who knew her. While she had many accomplishments the most treasured part of her life was her family and she delighted in the new addition of her grandson, Zachery. Ann was dearly loved and will be missed. She was a member of Heights Presbyterian Church. Ann was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jim Henson of Albuquerque; her son, Trey Hoffmann of Dallas, TX; her daughter, Tiffany Turetzky; son-in-law, Dave Turetzky; and her grandson, Zachary Dudley Turetzky, all of Secaucus, NJ; and her brother, Rev. Keith Strain of Crawfordsville, IN. Her Memorial Service will be held at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Monday, March 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association.
