Joseph Pete Castro, Sr. was born on August 16, 1940 in Yoder, WY, the son of Henry and Delores Castro. He died Friday, March 9, 2007, in Albuquerque, at the age of 66. Pete was honored to have served his country in the United States Army. He also spent 30 years employed by Sprint. He is survived by his loving wife, Emalda; two sons, Joseph Jr., and Kenneth; two sisters, Eleanor and Mary; and three brothers, Henry, Dolpho, and Elindo. Rosary will be recited on Monday, March 12, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Rosen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
