Jim, Lt. Col. USAF (ret), a 30 year resident of Albuquerque passed away on Friday, March 2, 2007. Jim is survived by his wife, Ellie; daughter, Jackie (Dave); sons, Ron (Judy) and Jeff; and granddaughters, Jennifer and Anita; brother, Tom (Eleanor); sisters, Bess and Jo; and nieces and nephews. He retired from the Air Force after 29 years of service to his country. Jim was a Berlin Airlift and Vietnam veteran. He volunteered at the VA Medical Center for over 20 years. He was a member of the Train Toy Society and the Berlin Airlift Association. Graveside service with full military honors will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Wednesday, March 7, 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the VA Medical Center, Cancer Research Project, 2100 Ridgecrest SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
