GILBERT THOMAS SR. Passed away on February 23, 2007. He was born in Las Vegas NM, on November 20, 1937. A resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1956. He is survived by his wife, Dolores of 39 years. Four children, daughter, Linda Romero, husband, Robert and children, Robert Jr., Michelle and Dennis of Grand Prairie, Texas. Daughter, Dianna Flores, husband, Benito, children, Shantel, Jacob, Anthony and Juliana of Albuquerque, NM. Son Gilbert Jr., wife, Priscilla, children, Nicolette and Jerick of Maricopa, Arizona. Son Richard, wife, Valerie and daughter, Sara of Albuquerque, NM. Three sisters, Elsie Southard of Tucson, AZ, Martha Flanagan of Albuquerque, NM, Geraldine Lyle and husband, Jim of Albuquerque, NM. Two Brothers, Lawrence of Albuquerque, NM and Mike, wife, Rose of Albuquerque, NM, and many nieces and nephews. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, Cleofes and Pita Tafoya and four brothers, Cleofes Jr., Samuel, Raymond and Henry. Gilbert had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life. His favorite hobby was woodworking and his favorite past time was fishing. Gilbert will be greatly missed by family and friends. Rosary will be at Queen of Heaven Parish, 5310 Claremont Ave. NE, on February 28, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be at Shrine of St. Bernadette church, 11401 Indian School Road, on March 1, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. with Father Choong presiding.
