Irene Edwina Lovato, 69, resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2007. Irene was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, the Sacred Heart League, and St. Jude Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raul H. Lovato. Irene is survived by her two children, Jessica Torres and husband, Ely and her son, Jude Lovato; and a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Kahre and husband, Darryl; five grandchildren, Eric, Andrea, Jesse, Samantha, and Ely. She will be greatly missed by her family. A special thank you to all of the Medical providers who cared for our Mother and Grandmother; including the nurses of the CCU at Lovelace Medical Center on Gibson. A Rosary will be recited on Friday at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Therese Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be: Jerry Pertner, Shaun Pertner, Patrick Lovato, and Ralph Gutierrez. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Eric, Andrea, Jesse, Samantha, and Ely.
