Myrtle L. Brown, 79, a resident of Cedar Crest for 43 years, died Saturday, February 10, 2007. She is survived by her children, Connie B. Sciacca and husband, Carl of Trinidad, CO, Frederick Arthur Brown, II and wife, Ina of Harper, TX; grandchildren, Wade Aubuchon and fiancee, Melinda Broderick of Albuquerque, Daryl Aubuchon and wife, Louise of Trinidad, CO; four great grandchildren, Kyra, Kolton, Grant and Meg; brother, Tommy Kimsey and wife, Frances of Albuquerque; sister, Carolyn Bacher; and many friends. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Fred in 2006. She was born in Belen, NM on January 25, 1928. Fred and Myrtle were married in Belen on February 10, 1946. She was one of the charter members of Mountainside Methodist Church in Cedar Crest and was instrumental in starting the Sandia Mountain Wildlife Association. She was very active in the Ponderosa Extension Club. Myrtle was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
