Marie La Pierre, 71, a resident of the Los Lunas area for 22 years, died Friday, January 5, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Andy Grabiec. Marie was noted for expertise in antiques and collectables. She most recently had a booth at Leftovers, Etc. in Los Lunas. Marie always loved making new friends and always found the good in people. Her favorite kitchen color was red, a wonderful kitchen brightener. Marie's favorite flowers were any flowers that she could cut from the yard and put in a vase. She had been slipping away from heart-disease for the past year, and if hind-sight is any good, then I could not have loved her more. We will miss your spirit! Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Reception will be held Friday, February 16, 2007, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel on what would have been her 72 birthday.
