Obituary for HOLLOWAY

Margaret Louise Knight Milohov Holloway, age 66, died January 27, 2007 in Winchester Medical Center. She fought a short, brave battle against liver cancer. Margaret was born on November 24, 1940, in Butte, MT, the daughter of the late Leonard O. and Pauline Hagel Knight. She was a homemaker who loved cooking and hosting many dinner parties for friends, the Albuquerque senior citizens group, Mensans and Roger's hiking group. She enjoyed painting and making Indian pottery. Her husband of 48 years, Roger W. Holloway, who preceded her in death were world travelers having lived in Montana, Oregon, Alaska, Italy, Virginia, Saudi Arabia, South Carolina, and New Mexico. They visited numerous other countries, and states in the U.S. Her stepfather, Michael Milohov and her sister, Wilma L. Milohov Diebele, preceded her in death. Surviving are her children, Deborah K. Holloway Corrigan (Patrick K. Corrigan) of Winchester, VA, and Richard W. Holloway (Teresa Erickson Holloway) of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren: Patricia K. Corrigan Moore (Robert F. Moore) of Inwood, WV, Lindsey K. Corrigan (Robert N. Basye) of Martinsburg, WV, Tyler W. and Logan B. Holloway of Atlanta, GA; two step-grandchildren, Jason K. Corrigan (Tiffany R. Carter Corrigan) of Leesburg, VA and Carissa Ferren of Atlanta, GA; two great-grandchildren, Raelyn M. Corrigan, Grayson B. Moore, one step-great-grandchild, Branyan L.J. Moore; a step-sister, Barbara L. Milohov of Billings, MT; a half-sister, Loretta J. Milohov Koffler of Huntley, MT; and a half-brother,Michael M. Milohov of Billings, MT. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Greenwood Fire and Rescue, PO Box 3023, Winchester, VA 22604 or Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601. A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Patrick and Deborah Corrigan, 110 Country Club Circle, Winchester, VA 22602 on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
