Patricia A. Thorson, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1962, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. Patty was born on May 25, 1933 in St. Ansgar, IA. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harold; and one son , Kurt and his wife, Janet; twin grandsons, Ahren and Alex; a brother, Richard Hofland and wife, Patricia; two nieces, Kim Nichols and husband, Randy and Julie Stein and husband, Rick, all of Albuquerque, NM; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends. Patty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, as well as a dear friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and remembered for her passionate love of life. Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or to the charity of choice.
