Helen Lucille Welsh See, 81, passed away at home Friday, January 26, 2007. She was born on January 8, 1926 and called Pender, NE home. She is survived by her husband, Frank, sons, Frank C. See III, wife, Joanie and grandson, Jonathan; William James See, wife, Sylvia, grandsons, Michael and Eric, granddaughters, Jamie and Courtney and great-grandson, Avery; Thomas Joseph See; daughters, Mary Theresa Turnbough, husband, Bob, granddaughter, Rachel, grandson, Bobby; and Adrienne Marie Palacio, husband, Sonny, granddaughter, Jessica. Mrs. See was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Paula See and her son, John Paul See. She grew up on a farm during the depression and developed a love of animals especially horses and dogs. She met Frank, her husband of nearly 58 years, at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. They were married in 1949 and soon moved to Albuquerque and started a family. After raising her children she began working as a counselor for families of the terminally ill, helping others deal with the reality of death until her retirement. She will always be remembered for her graciousness, her sense of humor, her caring and giving attitude and most importantly her strong religious beliefs. We will all miss you Mom. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Sonny, Bob, Michael, Eric, Jonathan and Bobby. Cremation will follow Services and the family will hold a private burial Service at a later date.
