Baltazar Marino Apodaca (Wally), born April 28, 1922, passed away on January 17, 2007 at the age of 84. Baltazar was a member of the United Stated Army, who served during WWII. He was a POW and a survivor of the Batten Death March. He is survived by his two sisters, Maggie Gallegos from Gallup, NM and Mary Grijalva, from Barstow, CA; his very good friend, Robert Vigil; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all. A visitation for Baltazar will be held on Monday, January 22, 2007 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Stover Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be recited on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, in Peralta, NM. Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
