Malcolm Archer Sterling, 84, died Friday, January 12, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Wanda M. Sterling; children, Terrie Sterling and husband, Michael Rowan of Atlanta GA, Cheela Renouard and husband, Scott of Austin, TX, Brian Sterling and wife, Mary Dolores of San Diego, CA, Stephen Sterling and wife, Terry of Fresno, CA, Mara L. Browning and husband, John of Albuquerque, Craig Sterling and wife, Frances of Amarillo, TX, Karla Sterling of San Diego, CA, Kent Nicholson and wife, Christine of Livonia, MI, Cheryl Hicks and husband, Don of Albuquerque and Daniel Nicholson of Manila, Philippines; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Vernon Sterling and wife, Phyllis of Kernersville, NC. Mr. Sterling was preceded in death by his wife, Cecile D. Sterling and his brother, Lloyd Sterling. Mr. Sterling worked for the Social Security Administration as a disability adjudicator. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church and Meadowlark Senior Center in Rio Rancho. Services will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper NE. Friends may visit Central United Methodist Church one hour prior to the service.
