Margaret E. Johnson, age 83, of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, January 12, 2007 at a local hospital. She was born November 16, 1923 in Albuquerque to James Anthony and Ella Elizabeth Crowley. Margaret was married to Roger Allan Johnson on April 10, 1943. He preceded her in death in 2003 after 60 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Margaret Parker and husband, Bob of Albuquerque, Beth Buhler and husband, David of Lawrence, KS, Jean Domme of Albuquerque and Cathy Dabney and husband, Brent of Belle Fourche, SD; seven grandchildren, Chuck Hildner, Maj. Ron Hildner, U.S. Army, Nick Domme, Lisa Fletcher, Amelia Karpowitz, Kristen Fox and Adam Buhler; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Barry Crowley and his wife, Eileen of Salem, OR; nephew, Pastor Jim Crowley of Oregon; sister-in-law, Jackie Looney of California; numerous nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog, Serina. Many of the things that brought joy to her life were square and ballroom dancing, bowling, events at the Albq. Elks Club B.P.O.E.#461 and 39 years as an active member of the E.S.A. Service Association, holding many state and local titles. She also was involved with The Ronald McDonald House and Cerebral Palsy organizations. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday afternoon, 3:00 p.m., at the Albuquerque Elks Lodge, 1430 Centre SE.
