Betty Jane Woerlein, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1979, passed away peacefully January 8, 2007 at her home. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Thomas John Woerlein of the family home. Betty is also survived by her God daughter, Deborah Craey King; and her sisters-in-law, Elsie Brandt and husband, Arnold and Hermine Lees and husband, Walt. Mrs. Woerlein was a Red Cross volunteer for 30 years. She was a great bowler belonging to a league for 20 years and an avid bridge player at the Four Hills Country Club. Rosary will be recited Thursday 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 9:00 a.m. at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. She was a true and faithful wife and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
