Marian Rose Griffin, 46, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 27 years, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2007. Marian was born July 17, 1960 the daughter of Charles and Constance "Penny" Bunce DeFraia in Patchogue, NY. Marian was preceded in death by her father, Charles DeFraia in 1988. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Kevin M. Griffin of Rio Rancho; mother, Penny DeFraia of Rio Rancho; four children, Jennifer, Erica, Alan, and Joseph Griffin, all of Rio Rancho; one grandchild, Landon Griffin; two sisters, Vicki Belzak and husband Greg of Long Island, NY, and Connie DeFraia of Rio Rancho, NM; three brothers, Chuck DeFraia and wife, Debbie of Long Island, NY, Matt DeFraia and wife, Arlene of Albuquerque, NM, and Tony DeFraia and wife, Lisa of Rio Rancho, NM; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services at Vista Verde, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association of New Mexico, 7001 Menaul Blvd., NE, Suite 1-A, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
