Ross Alfred Arellano Jr., 61, of Farmington, NM passed from this life December 28, 2006. Mr. Arellano was born May 2, 1945 in Gallina, NM, the son of Ross Arellano, Sr. and Matilda Chavez. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla; sons, Duane Arellano and wife, Melissa of Albuquerque and Erik Arellano of Farmington; daughters, Janel (Arellano) Montoya and husband, Eric of Bernalillo, Heather Banks of Visalia, CA, and Esperanza Arellano of Farmington; stepchildren, Sylvia Anaya, Julie Anaya, Adam Anaya, and Isaac Anaya; brothers, Eusebio Arellano, Ubaldo Arellano, Serafin Arellano, Leroy Arellano, and Armando Arellano; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Rosary will be recited Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomfield with Father Jim Walker reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 5, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomfield with Father Jim Walker as celebrant. He will then be laid to rest at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors provided by VFW Post #2182 of Farmington. Pallbearers are Ubaldo Arellano, Armando Arellano, Eusebio Arellano, Leroy Arellano, Serafin Arellano and Archie Lucero. Honorary pallbearers are Waldo Arellano, Jr., Armando Arellano, Andrew Arellano, Steve Arellano, Gavino Arellano, Brian Arellano, Jeremy Arellano, Joel Arellano, Issac Anaya, and Adam Anaya.
