Marian Tarleton Fox, a fine lady, was born on February 9, 1917 in Taos, NM. She died at home in Albuquerque on Monday, Christmas, December 25, 2006, at the age of 89. Marian had lived in Albuquerque since 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty seven years, Charles T. Fox. She is survived by daughter, Gretchen Fox of Albuquerque; son, Eric Fox and wife, Catie Angell of Albuquerque; and daughter, Terri Fox of Albuquerque; five grandchildren: Craig Fox of Santa Fe, NM, Carla Fox Slater and her husband, Steve of Albuquerque, Chelsea Fox Harnish and husband, Scot of Chandler, AZ, Stephen Pack of Albuquerque, and Melissa Pack of Albuquerque; and five great-grandchildren. Marian was a member of First Presbyterian Church for 53 years, where she also served as a deacon and was actively involved in the Sunbonnet Mission Shop for many years. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 5, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust St. NE. Interment will be in Taos, NM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Animal Humane Association, 615 Virginia SE, 87108, or gifts to the Deacon's Fund or the Sunbonnet Mission Fund at First Presbyterian Church.
