Nancy J. Doty, 59, passed away on December 26, 2006. Ms. Doty was born in Freeport, NY on October 2, 1947 and was a resident of Albuquerque for 13 years, moving here from Santa Fe. She received an AA from Santa Fe Community College and a BA from the College of Santa Fe. She had been employed as an Accountant/Bookkeeper for the McClintock Paper Company. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the City View Ward. She served as a Primary Teacher, Ward Librarian, Visiting Teacher, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Ms. Doty is preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Doty in 2001 and her sister, Sheila Nightingale, in 1972. She is survived by her father, Lorne J. "Joe" Doty, of Glendale, AZ; her children, Priscilla McGee and husband, Bruce, of Gaithersburg, MD, Holly Dison of Tempe, AZ, Stephen Dison of Mesa, AZ, and David Dison of American Fork, UT; two granddaughters, Hannah and Sarah McGee of Gaithersburg, MD; siblings, Steven Doty and wife, Pam, of Sun City, AZ, Linda White and husband, John, of Sun City, AZ, Sandra Brar, and husband, Vince, of Seal Beach, CA, Diana Coplen and husband, Ken, of Casa Grande, AZ, Lorraine Cherewick and husband, Tom, of Redlodge, MT, Lorne Joseph Doty, Jr. and wife, Sherry, of Missoula, MT. There will be a visitation from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., with Funeral Services to follow at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12800 Indian School Rd.
