Mary "Marietta" M. Pohl, 89, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, December 17, 2006. She is survived by her children, Mabel Barboza and husband, Joe, Cora Houser and husband, Gerald, Amarante Pohl and wife, Stella, Ruben Pohl, Anna M. Terry and husband, Paul, Dora Jojola and husband, Roy, Lucille Pohl, and Macario Pohl, Jr. and wife, Lourie; grandchildren, Anita Pohl-Schissel, Matthew Barboza, Andrew Barboza, Jeff Trujillo, Kim Wallace, Jennifer Bailey, Tami Azpeitia, Margarita Wild, Leticia Pohl, Angela Maez, Mark Terry, Pam Terry, Michael Terry, Daniel Jojola, Thomas Pohl, and Edward Pohl; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Abelicio Mora; sister, Vera Sanchez; brother, Adan Mora; sister, Betty Henson. Mrs. Pohl was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Macario Pohl; her sister, Lucilla Mora; brother, Albino Mora; brother, Ramon Mora; sister, Catalina Pohl; brother, Ernesto Mora; and grandson, Peter Barboza. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, December 20, 2006, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE with Josie Mora, reciting. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 21, 2006, 9:00 a.m. at Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Road, NE with Fr. Norbert Choong, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Barboza, Andrew Barboza, Jeff Trujillo, Daniel Jojola, Thomas Pohl, and Edward Pohl. Honorary pallbearers will be Estevan Jojola and David Schissel.
