Eleanor M. Corbett, 95, a resident of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho since 1973, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2006. Eleanor was born September 3, 1911 the daughter of Walter Harley and Lillian Agnes Scheferston Story in New York City, New York. Eleanor was a devout catholic, and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. During her younger years, she was a typist and office staff member. For a short while, she worked as a "Rent-a-Granny" in the Albuquerque area. Eleanor is survived by her son, James R. Corbett of Teaneck, New Jersey. The Rosary for Eleanor will be recited at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2006 with the Mass of Christian Burial following at 1:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho.
