ZANA HIBBITS Born September 23, 1926 to Lora Latta Hibbits and James Everett Hibbits in Amarillo, TX, and grew up wth her sister in their family home. She attended school in Amarillo, graduating from Amarillo High School in 1945. She attended Amarillo Junior College and had nurses training in Denver, CO. She is survived by her sister, Beverly Parker and her husband, Earl; her daughter, Kathrine Koch and her husband, Bill; her son, David Prime; grandchildren, Christopher Koch and wife, Holly, Timothy Koch, Megan Prime, and Gavin Prime; nephews, Eric Parker, Todd Parker, and Guy Parker and his wife, Kimberly; niece, Kim Franklin and her husband, Keith; grandchildren, Killian Parker and a grandchild due on December 24, 2006; and her well-beloved companion, Alva Brown. She was translated into the Church Victorious on Saturday, December 9, 2006. The celebration of her life continues at the Church of St. Andrew, 5301 Ponderosa Avenue NE, Albuquerque, NM at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2006. In lieu of flowers, Zana requests that donations be made to the building fund of the Church of St. Andrew.
