Benjamin (Cacheton) Luis Pacheco, age 61, died peacefully at home on December 8, 2006. He was born June 5, 1945 in Tucumcari, NM to the late Benito and Louisa Pacheco. He graduated from Tucumcari High School in 1964. Benjamin served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Colleton and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and received an Associates Degree from Mesa Tech Community College. Benjamin is survived by his wife, Lorraine; his two daughters, Denise (Michael), Laura; five grandchildren, Issac, Brittney, Anthony, Angel, Gino; one great-granddaughter, Jasmine, Albuquerque, NM; five brothers, Joe (Elaine), Robert, Tucumcari, NM, David, Clovis, NM, Raymond, California, Ricky Albuquerque, NM; five sisters, Diana (Phil) Sanchez, Gloria (Peter), Vicky, Albuquerque, Diana (Sergio), Martha Pacheco Tucumcari, NM; many nephews, nieces, other relatives and numerous friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two sisters, MaryAnn and Georgia. Rosary Tuesday evening, December 12, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. Mass Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., both at St Anne's Church, 306 W. High St., Tucumcari, NM. Interment Tucumcari Memorial Park.
