Obituary for MILLER

Marilyn Miller, age 71, daughter of Glen and Dorothy Holt, was born on January 10, 1935, and passed away with her family at her side this December 8, 2006 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. Marilyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey in July of 2002. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Miller; oldest son, Mark Miller, wife, Diane and four children: Christy, Nick, Jason, and Sarah; second son, Russell, wife, Eliza and daughter, Marlowe; youngest son, Loren, wife, Socorro and children, Adam and Jordan; and son-in-law, Greg Roybal and son, Christopher. Marilyn was a life-long lover of New Mexico who also lived and raised her children in California, Colorado, Israel, and Jamaica. She spent her childhood years in Vaughn and transferred to Carlsbad in her senior year of high school, where she met John. The two of them moved to Las Cruces while John attended NMSU. They lived in Santa Fe from 1976 to 1990, at which point they moved to Las Cruces, where the two would live together until the day she passed. A Memorial Service will be held in the Berardinelli Chapel in Santa Fe, NM at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2006.
