Obituary for MARQUEZ

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday December 10, 2006

Josephine A. Mom, I asked Marlene to write something special for you. I miss you. Quietly I sit at the cemetery and the snow begins to fall I sit there and wish I could pick up the phone and call Just to hear your voice, just to say hi Then maybe some of these tears would dry 20 years now, you were called to Kingdom Come And just 5 months ago you were joined by your son Things have changed so much without you through the years The only thing the same is these falling tears The emptiness will always be there, and the sadness will live on We will meet again one day, until then we will continue to be strong Your memory will live on in us all Quietly I sit at the cemetery and the snow begins to fall
