JOHN H. (JACK) Jack Doyle, 80, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born July 30, 1926 in Midlothian, IL. He came to the Southwest in 1957 from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, working for Calumet and Heckla in Grants, NM. He moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1962 to work for Albuquerque Gravel Products where he eventually became President. In 1975, AGP's parent company, M. M. Sundt Construction Co. prevailed upon him to move to Tucson, AZ. He retired in 1989 as Vice-President of Finance for Sundt. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in WWII and in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1950. Jack loved his family, his many great friends, the outdoors, the Southwest, his church and traveling. His laughter and generous spirit are well missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia; daughters, Coleen O'Donnell, Margaret Doyle and husband, Roger Woodle, Nora Manka and husband, John Kyser; sons, Tim and wife, Leslie, Mike and wife, Kara; and five grandchildren. Jack was predeceased by his son, William. Private services were held. I have enjoyed and loved a very good person for more than 50 years.
