Richard Allan Scales, 54, of Albuquerque, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, November 27, 2006. He was a man of great faith and integrity; he walked the walk and had a servant's heart. He was an active member of Tramway Community Church, played guitar with the worship band and served on the church board for five years. Rick was quick witted and could find the humor in every situation. He will be greatly missed. Rick was a doting and loving husband, father, and grandfather and is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Susan; daughters, Kimberly Scales and Karri and husband, Kenny Stake and their children, Justin Kendall and Tyler Drew Stake; parents, James and Edith Scales; siblings, James E. Scales of Albuquerque, Ronald G. Scales of Tucson, AZ, and Donna R. Walhood of Albuquerque, and Tina Marie Lange of Sarasota, FL. Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2006, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE. Services will be Friday, December 1, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at Tramway Community Church, 4800 Tramway Ridge Drive NE. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd., NE.
