Eric "Bubba" Galindo March 17, 1989 - November 25, 2006 Eric "Bubba" Galindo, 17, a strong young man who loved everything and everyone he came in contact with. Eric was a selfless person who loved to make everyone laugh, even till the end, he was making everyone laugh. There was not a single person who met Eric that did not immediately love him or walk away with a smile. Eric has been battling cancer for the last two years and took it all in stride, he never complained or asked why. Through chemo, radiation, and surgeries, Eric still kept a positive outlook on life and always planned on the future with his family. Eric is finally at peace and is resting now. He passed on November 25, 2006, at home with his family. Our beloved son, brother, and friend, you will be greatly missed. You were a joy to have as a part of our family, you kept everyone smiling and happy. You are finally free now, and can fly with all of the other angels, because Eric, you truly are an angel. You looked over everyone and you put everyone first before yourself. We love you Eric and we will never forget you. We will rejoice with you one day! Eric is survived by his mother, Cathy Galindo; father, Michael Galindo, Jr.; and brother, Steven Galindo. He had numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Mass will be recited in his honor at 9:00 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2006, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 550 Atrisco Dr. SW. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made on Eric's behalf to the Children's Cancer Fund of New Mexico, 112 14th St. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
