Rufina Ruth Barros, born July 19, 1923 passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2006 in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Desidrio Barros. She is survived by her son, John and wife, Luisa; three grandsons, Pete and wife, Tisha, Carlos, and Daniel and wife, Crystal; two great-granddaughters, Taylon and Aaliyah. She is also survived by a like daughter, niece, Portana and Tonio; two like sons, nephews, Toby and Louis; lots of nieces and nephews, too many to mention; and also by her number one band, Los Garapatas. A Rosary for Mrs. Barros will be recited on Friday evening, December 1, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services are pending and will be announced.
