Obituary for TRUDELLE

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday November 29, 2006

Ramona Ruth Trudelle, 75, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2006 after a hard fought battle with cancer. This world has lost a loving wife, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as a fine and loyal friend. She was a perfect model of unconditional love, and will be missed intensely by all who were blessed by her presence. Ramona was a long time resident of Albuquerque and graduated from Albuquerque High in 1949 and is still in close contact with several of her classmates. She married in 1954 and was a model wife and mother and homemaker all of her life. She also had a full and successful career with Hooten Stahl Realtor for many years. Her modeling of unconditional love and fiercely loyal devotion to her family and friends will be sorely missed. Her boundless energy and ability to organize home and outside interests was truly remarkable. She was actively involved with LaMesa Presbyterian Church for many years and was valued for the service she gave. She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends and missed very, very much by all who had the privilege to know her. We will all miss you. May you find the peace, happiness and the contentment you so richly deserve. We all love you. Ramona is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jim: son Michael and his wife Kathy; two daughters, Susan and Stacey; grandchildren, Jessica and her husband Harold, Danielle, Kyle, and Brianna; as well as her great grandchildren, Sierra, McKinzey, Faith, and Harold, Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2006 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. with the Service at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. The family wishes to extend their heart felt thanks to the staff of Heritage Hospice and the UNMH Cancer Research Center. Through the help of these wonderful people, Ramona's wish of being at home through her battle was fulfilled. The family would also like to thank Trey Hammond, the pastor at La Mesa Presbyterian Church for his prayers and endless support that he has given the family. In lieu of flowers, it has been suggested that memorial contributions be made in Ramona's name to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Montgomery Blvd., NE, Suite 300, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
