VERONICA R. Ms. Veronica R. Gallegos-Lujan, 43, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on November 27, 2006. Ms. Gallegos-Lujan is survived by two daughters, Evangeline Benavidez and Venessa Morris and husband, Gabriel Sr.; her grandmother, Orlinda Gallegos; two sisters, Elaine F. Perea and husband, Mark, Arlene J. Gallegos; her brother, Matthew Zamora; her grandson, Gabriel Morris Jr.; one niece, Cheriese Villa; one grandnephew, Roman Marczyk; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Veronica was preceded in death by her parents Ross and Claudine Gallegos and her grandmother, Modesta V. Romero. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2006, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel. Final visitation will be Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of the Ressurection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, Father Gene Greis, presider. Pallbearers will be Mark Perea, Gabriel Morris Sr., Gino Cinelli, Matthew Zamora, Billy Gallegos Jr. and J.J. Maestas. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Romero, Joseph Romero and David Chavez. Private disposition will take place. At the request of the family in lieu of flowers send contributions/donations to the Lupus Foundation.
