Maria Xavier Morello Luette, 67, native of New York and longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2006. She is survived by her mother, Florence Pantusa; daughters, Lynda Anne Ewing and husband, James, of Albuquerque, Tambria Louise Ainsworth of Washington State; granddaughters, Kristl Marita Ewing and Courtney Louise Ainsworth; sister, Zia Rita Bogner; god-daughter, Angela Bogner; caregiver, Theresa V.; companion of many years, Robert Hamilton; longtime friend and student, Liz Archuleta; and many extended family and friends. She is retired from the Albuquerque Public School system after 35 years of service. Maria was actively involved in Delta Kappa Gamma for 25 years, and was a strong supporter of Alanon. She dedicated the last several years of life to entertaining and supporting the elderly through Choraliers and The Hillbilly Jug Band. Maria was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Parish and Carlisle Plaza Methodist Church. Rosary will be recited Friday, November 24, 2006, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 25, 2006, 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Parish, 5310 Claremont NE. Private family interment of cremated remains will follow at a later date.
