Martha D. Callender, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Friday, November 17, 2006. Ms. Callender has been a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1971. Ms. Callender was born May 6, 1931 to George and Dorothy McClure of Canon City, CO. She married Roger Callender on July 27, 1948. Ms. Callender loved to go camping and fishing. She loved tending to her rose bushes, arranging flowers, and gardening. She also loved animals. Ms. Callender was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, in January 2006. She is survived by her children: Leroy Callender and wife, Janet, Virginia Hardy, Linda Herrera and husband, Dan, and Barbara Silva and husband, Tony, all of Albuquerque, and Nancy McClary of Denver, CO; her brothers, George McClure of Montana, and James McClure of Colorado; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2006 also at the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services. Ms. Callender will then be entombed next to her husband at Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Cory Callender, Cody Hardy, Tony Silva, Anthony Dapo, Scott Howe, and Dan Herrera. Honorary Pallbearers will be Leroy Callender and David Ray.
