Rosemary Cliff, died November 8, 2006 of complications following surgery. She will be sorely missed by her husband of 50 years, Norman; and by her three sons, Lawrence, Roger, and Paul. Her sons were her greatest pride. She will also be mourned by her grandchildren, Shannon, Ryan, Alexander, Maxwell, Michelle, and Conrad; as well as by her sons' wives, Jo Ann, Renee, and Cheryl; and by her brothers and sisters: Newcomb, Carolyn, James, Bert, and Robert Hayes, and Helen Bondurant. There are many others whom she influenced that will regret her passing as well. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother and a caring friend. She was born June 15, 1932, in Oklahoma City to Smith and Annie Laurie Hayes and graduated from Central High and Oklahoma State University. She was the first woman admitted to the Graduate Program in Industrial Psychology at Purdue University. After her degree there she did psychological research at Educational Testing Service and for the U.S. Navy. She later did management research at the University of Southern California and Loyola Marymount University, where she retired in 1993. In retirement, she became a Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League and had many friends at the Duke City Bridge Club. She was a devout Anglican for all of her adult life. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2006, 9:30 a.m., at St. Peters Church, corner of Eubank and Paseo del Norte, Albuquerque.
