Richard "Dick" Miller, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1961, died Tuesday, October 31, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Miller; daughters, Kathryn Miller of Leavenworth, KS and Dorothy Miller of Seattle, WA; sister, Judy Vokac of Deerborn, MI; and sister-in-law, Fran Miller of Woodland Hills, CA. He was preceded in death by son, Michael Miller in 1973. After his retirement as a claims manager, Dick did volunteer work through AARP, filing income tax returns for seniors. Dick and Joyce traveled extensively. He was a loving husband and father who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2006, 1:00 p.m. at St. Marks-on-the-Mesa Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas NE, on Thursday, November 2, 2006, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to St. Marks.
