Rebecca Betancourt, 36, passed away on October 28, 2006. She is survived by her parents, Gabriel and Nellie Betancourt; brother, Gabriel Betancourt and wife, Patrice Ligi; children, Whitney, Gabriel, and Vanessa Betancourt; uncle, Joe and aunt, Rosie Betancourt from California; uncle, Larry and aunt, Louise Betancourt; aunt, Susie and uncle, Lawrance Gallegos; aunt, Jessie and uncle, Jimmy Gonzales from California; aunt, Lydia and uncle, Joe Garcia; aunt, Eva and uncle, Richard Connelly; aunt, Ruth and uncle, Jimmy Borunda; aunt, Stella; niece, Addie; nephew, Jermey; niece, Tristin; and great-nephew, Alik; many beautiful loving cousins; and a special friend, David Blair. We will always remember our loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, cousin, and friend because of the wonderful memories she left us. The Service will be held at Shrine of Saint Bernedette, 1800 Martha St. NE, at 9:00 a.m. on November 3, 2006. The family wishes that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association in your own name.
