Obituary for WATSON

Mary Louise Watson, 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2006. Mary was born December 16, 1921 the daughter of Clifford and Maude Haycraft Franklin in Peonia, KY. She had been a hotel manager before retiring. She loved to sew, cook, and work in her garden. Mary also was fond of horses, flowers, and birds. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold in 1987; one daughter, Martina McDaniel in 2003; and her parents. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Lang and husband Wilfred of Corrales; one brother, Vanley Franklin of Kentucky; two sisters, Estela Smith and Fannie Hayse, both of Kentucky; son-in-law, David McDaniel of Albuquerque; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with the Service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln, Rio Rancho. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Pete Van Dyke, Latham Leinheiser, Stefan D. Klimaj, and Pete Van Patten. It has been suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's; Association, New Mexico Chapter, 9500 Montgomery Blvd., NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
