Forrest D. Lynch, Sr. In memory of Forrest D. Lynch, Sr., Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather. Forrest D. Lynch, Sr., longtime resident of Albuquerque/Corrales and Elephant Butte, New Mexico, passed away on October 21, 2006. Forrest was born in Hugoton, Kansas on August 27, 1921, the fourth child of John D. and Ruby Lynch. Forrest served his country during World War II as a member of the 24th Division Artillery, United States Army. He received the Purple Heart Commendation. Forrest worked diligently as a machinist, electrician and farmer. Prior to retiring, Forrest was the co-owner of TELCO Electric Motor, Co. He loved animals, gardening, and above all, his family. Forrest leaves behind his wife of almost 65 years, Lora Jean Evans Lynch. He is survived, also, by his son, Forrest Dale Lynch, Jr., Daughter-in Law, Norma Lynch, Daughters, Vicki Ann Little, Dorothy Mullins, Ruby Lynch-Arroyo, Son-in-Laws, William Little and Vincent Arroyo. Additional surviving family members include three grandsons, two granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren, his sister, Maxine Gerhardt and brother, Douglas Lynch. Forrest was preceded in death by his brothers, JD and Max Lynch and his grandson, Jeffrey Scott Lynch. Services will be held Thursday, October 26,2006, 10:00 a.m. at Daniels Funeral Home, 4310 Sara Road, Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Internment will follow immediately at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hatch Flood Victims, c/o Hatch Church of God, Rev. James Woods.
