Sara Cuevas, 72, passed away October 18, 2006 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born August 10, 1934 in Michoacan, Mexico to Mariano and Dolores Avila-Cuevas. Sara is survived by her sons, Felipe Vega, Mauricio Buenrostro and wife, Cristina; daughters; Maria Araceli Rodrigues and husband, Eulalio, Martha Alicia Gutierrez and husband, Jaime; Elva Rocio Rosales and husband, Rodolfo; Yolanda Tafoya, Veronica Buenrostro; Norma A. Cornejo and husband, Manuel; 28 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Sara loved her family and enjoyed her grand- and great-grandchildren immensely. She was always there for her family in any way they needed her. She will be dearly missed by family and all those who knew her. Rosary will be recited on Friday, October 20, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Friends may visit one hour prior to Rosary. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
