Mary Santistevan, 78, was born May 17, 1928 in Roy, NM and passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2006. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; daughters, Terri Santistevan, Louise Clayton and husband, Richard of Palm Coast, FL, Veronica Duran and husband, Pete of Rio Rancho, Victoria Otero and husband, Mike of Winslow, AZ, Gloria Santistevan of Jacksonville, FL, and Valerie Thurman of Albuquerque; son, Lawrence Santistevan of Moriarty; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard on June 10, 2004. Mary was a member of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 9:30 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
