Anna R. Messenger, age 89 and a resident of Albuquerque for 28 years, died on Monday, October 16, 2006 in a local following an illness. Mrs. Messenger is survived by her son, Alan F. Messenger and his wife, Liese of Placitas, NM; a brother, Ralph Merritt of NJ; four grand-children: Keith, Wayde, Austin, and Robert Messenger; and three great-grandchildren. Anna was a loving mother and grandmother who was born in New York and moved to New Jersey before coming to New Mexico. A viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, October 19, 2006 from Noon to 1:00 p.m. with a Service following at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Fitzgerald and Son with Rev. Jane P. Harmes of Placitas Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. All Services are under the care and direction of: Fitzgerald and Sun Funeral Directors 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE 884-1188
