Ely Ralph Ortiz, 41, a resident of Bernalillo, NM, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2006. Ely was born May 14, 1965, the son of Ernest Jose and Elizabeth May Lorraine Estrada Ortiz in Tucumcari, NM. He had been a carpenter in commercial construction before he passed away. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Mario and Trampas. Ely is survived by his father, Ernest J. Ortiz and wife Eva; mother, Elizabeth L. Ortiz; two sons, Aaron Lucero and Mario Ortiz; one daughter, Elycia Ortiz; one brother, Leroy Ortiz; two sisters, Edna Ortiz and Eileen Jordan; grandmother, May Ortiz; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins; Gina Hurtado and Patsy Ortiz, (ex-wives); and Janeth Heines, fiancee. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Chapel, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE, Albuquerque, with Pastor Skip Heitzig officiating.
