Virginia M. Wicks, age 93, of Verona, WI, formerly of Albuquerque, NM, daughter of the late Richard and Marie Waller of Chicago, IL, loving wife of the late Willard (Bill) Wicks of Hanna, IN, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2006 at Cherry Home of Verona. Virginia became a child model at age 3, posing for 4 years for the Tonnesen & Keedy Studios in Chicago. She graduated from Calumet High School and worked for Commerce Clearing House, Inc. for 14 years as a Billing Supervisor before her marriage. She is survived by two children, Sharon (Ted) Bailey of Belleville, WI and Kenneth (Carla) Wicks of Hurst, TX; grandchildren Kristen Gunderson and Eric (Kristel) Gebhart of Monroe, WI; Amber (Richard) Tesar, Bonnie (Jeff) Moon, Candice (Gordon) Brown, Donovan Wicks, and Nicole Wicks, all of the Dallas, TX area; and several great-grandchildren. She is a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Verona, WI, and a member of the Verona Senior Center. Memorial Services will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 301 N. Main Street, Verona, on Monday, October 16, 2006 at Noon. A visitation will also be held at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Service. Inurnment will be at Vista Verde Cemetery in Rio Rancho, NM at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center, 5395 E.
